We are looking for Care Partners to join our team at Middlefield Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care in Cottage Grove, OR.
Provides residents with quality personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths.
Provides activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; provides fresh water and serves between meal and bedtime snacks.
Observes any changes in resident physical or mental status and communicates to the Administrator or Resident Assistant Supervisor.
Provides laundry and housekeeping services to residents, as assigned.
Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients' call lights and requests; reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor.
Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
Assists with resident activity programs as assigned.
Complies with HIPAA Privacy Act by protecting confidential patient information.
Relieves at front desk, providing constant coverage for call and alarm system, as well as clerical and secretarial support as requested.
Follows all policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment. Looks for ways to improve facility functioning.
Performs other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior Care Partner experience preferred, but not required.
Healthcare/Long Term Care experience preferred.
Strong desire to work with the elderly.
Must demonstrate on an ongoing basis the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with co-workers and other departments.
Consistently demonstrates a pleasant demeanor, tone of voice, supports the philosophy and approach to care used by the Community.
Ability to multitask and willingness to learn.
Keeps resident information confidential; respects residents rights, respects privacy and right to self-determination of residents.
Capable of working evenings, weekends and holidays.
Comes to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrates dependability and punctuality.
Must pass a background check and pre-employment assessment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
